Terms of Use
Welcome to khunryoneth.ddd. These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website and the services offered by Khunryoneth, including custom furniture manufacturing, furniture restoration, and furniture assembly and repair. By using our website or engaging our services you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the website or our services. We recommend that you read these Terms carefully and keep a copy for your records.

Use of the Website
You may use this website only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to use the website in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations, infringes the intellectual property or other rights of others, or could damage, disable, overburden or impair the website or our systems. You must not attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the website, our systems, the data of other users, or any other systems or networks connected to the website. You must not use the website to transmit any viruses, malware or other harmful code, or to collect or harvest personal data about other users. You are responsible for ensuring that any information you provide to us is accurate, complete and up to date, and that you have the authority to provide it. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the website if we reasonably believe you have breached these Terms.
Enquiries and Quotes
When you submit an enquiry or request a quote for custom furniture, restoration or repair, we will use the information you provide to respond and to prepare an estimate. All quotes and estimates are provided in good faith but do not constitute a binding contract until we have accepted your order in writing (including by email) and any deposit or payment terms agreed between us have been confirmed. Quotes may be valid for a limited period as stated in the quote; if no period is stated we will typically honour a quote for 30 days from the date of issue. We may withdraw or revise a quote at any time before acceptance. For custom furniture we may need to visit your premises or receive detailed measurements and specifications before confirming a final price. For restoration and repair we may need to inspect the item in person before confirming the scope and cost of work.
Custom Furniture Orders
Orders for custom-made furniture are subject to the specifications, materials, dimensions, finish, price and delivery or collection terms agreed at the time of order and set out in your order confirmation. You are responsible for providing accurate dimensions, design preferences, room details and any other information we need to complete the work. We will use reasonable skill and care to produce furniture that conforms to the agreed specification. We will endeavour to complete work within any agreed timeframe but cannot guarantee completion dates where materials, supply chains or circumstances are outside our control; time shall not be of the essence unless expressly agreed in writing. Title and risk in custom furniture pass to you on delivery or collection unless otherwise agreed. You must inspect goods on delivery or collection and notify us of any obvious damage or shortage within a reasonable time. Payment terms will be set out in your order confirmation; we may require a deposit (typically 30–50%) before work begins and the balance on completion or before delivery. We retain ownership of goods until full payment has been received. Any design drawings or samples we provide remain our property unless otherwise agreed.
Restoration and Repair Services
For restoration and repair work we will provide an estimate based on the condition and scope of work you describe and, where possible, our initial inspection. The final scope and cost may vary if additional work is required once the piece is examined in detail (for example hidden damage, woodworm, or structural issues). We will seek your written or verbal approval before undertaking work that goes beyond the original estimate. You are responsible for ensuring that items left with us are adequately insured; we do not accept liability for loss or damage to your items except where caused by our negligence. We will take reasonable care of all items in our possession and will store them in a secure, suitable environment. We may take photographs of items for our records, for progress updates, or for our portfolio; we will seek your consent where appropriate. Completion dates are estimates and are not guaranteed. Our Return policy sets out your rights and our obligations in relation to the quality of restoration and repair work.
Assembly Services
Where we provide assembly services for flat-pack or other furniture that you have purchased, we will carry out the work with reasonable skill and care in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions where provided. We are not responsible for defects in the furniture itself, for missing or incorrect parts supplied by the manufacturer, or for unclear or erroneous instructions. If we discover missing or defective parts we will inform you; replacement or rectification is your responsibility with the retailer or manufacturer. Any warranty or guarantee we give in relation to assembly is limited to correcting work that we have not performed to a reasonable standard. We are not liable for any failure or defect in the assembled furniture that arises from the design, materials or components of the product rather than from our assembly. If we are unable to complete assembly due to manufacturer defects we may charge for time spent up to that point.
Prices and Payment
Prices are quoted in British Pounds (GBP) and include VAT where applicable unless otherwise stated. We reserve the right to correct pricing errors; if we have already accepted an order at an incorrect price we will inform you and you may cancel the order for a full refund if the correction is significant. Payment terms will be agreed per project and set out in your order confirmation or quote. We may require a deposit for custom work before materials are ordered or work begins. The balance is typically due on completion, on delivery, or in stages for larger projects. We accept payment by bank transfer, card or other methods as indicated. Late payment may attract interest at a rate of 4% above the Bank of England base rate and we may suspend or cancel services until payment is received. We may also charge reasonable costs for recovering overdue amounts. In the event of dispute you may not withhold payment for sums that are not in dispute.
Cancellation and Changes
If you wish to cancel or change an order you must contact us as soon as possible. For custom furniture, materials may already have been ordered or work started; in such cases we may charge for work done, materials committed, and any restocking or cancellation costs. We will inform you of any such charges and aim to agree a fair outcome. For restoration and repair, if you cancel before we have started work we will refund any advance payment; if work has begun we may charge for work done and materials used. Our Return policy provides further detail on returns, refunds and your statutory rights where relevant. If we need to cancel an order due to circumstances beyond our control we will refund any sums paid and will not be liable for any further loss.

Any designs, drawings or specifications we create in the course of a project may be subject to our intellectual property rights unless otherwise agreed in writing. Unauthorised use may result in legal action.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude liability for any indirect, consequential, special or punitive loss or damage, including but not limited to loss of profits, revenue, goodwill, data or business opportunity. We limit our total liability to you for any claim or series of related claims arising from your use of the website or our services (whether in contract, tort, negligence or otherwise) to the amount you have paid us for the relevant order or service in the twelve months preceding the claim. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited by applicable law. If you are a consumer, your statutory rights are not affected by these Terms.

We process personal data in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation and the Data Protection Act 2018.
Force Majeure
We shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations where such failure or delay results from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, war, terrorism, pandemic, fire, flood, storm, industrial dispute, government action, failure of suppliers or sub-contractors, or breakdown of plant or machinery. If such circumstances continue for a prolonged period we may cancel the order and refund any sums paid, without further liability.
Severability
If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. The invalid or unenforceable provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable while preserving the parties' intentions.
Waiver
No failure or delay by us in exercising any right under these Terms shall operate as a waiver of that right. Any waiver must be in writing and signed by us. A waiver of any breach shall not constitute a waiver of any subsequent breach.
Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy policy, Cookies policy and Return policy (where applicable), and any order confirmation or written agreement we enter into with you, constitute the entire agreement between you and us in relation to the website and our services and supersede any prior agreements, understandings or representations. Nothing in these Terms is intended to create a partnership, joint venture or agency relationship between you and us.
Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with these Terms or their subject matter shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. If you are a consumer resident in Scotland or Northern Ireland you may also bring proceedings in your local courts.

For existing orders, the Terms in force at the time of order will apply unless we agree otherwise. We recommend that you review this page periodically. If you do not agree to any changes you should stop using the website and our services and contact us to discuss any ongoing orders.
